Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge was opened to the public and tourists way back in the year 1937. The Golden Gate Bridge can be found between San Francisco Bay and Marin County. This Bridge is considered one of the top wonders of the world. The Golden Gate Bridge is regarded as the longest suspension bridge in the history of mankind. This Bridge is wholly made from Steel and structures across 1.7 miles.

Sea lions in San Francisco One of the major attractions of San Francisco is its native sea lions. Tourists worldwide flock to San Francisco to watch the Intelligent and play full sea lions. They do quite a show. Way back in 1989, when the Loma Prieta earthquake hit San Francisco, the sea lions made the pier 39 k dock their home.

Golden Gate Park

The top attractions of Golden Gate Park include its green lawns extending as far as the eye can see, flowers, lakes, more than 7000 species of plants, varieties of trees, bridle paths, exquisite Gardens, and a Peaceful environment. You may also go on a bike ride around the park or a long stroll.

Chinatown at San Francisco

San Francisco has its own Chinatown, one of the oldest and most established in the country. Chinatown is the burning maze of cobbled streets, traditional eatery outlets, joints selling antiques and artifacts, alleys brimming with life, and lots more. 

In San Francisco’s Chinatown, you also get to shop at the souvenir stores, indulge in sweets and cakes at its quaint bakeries, drink the cocktails at its lounges, and dance to karaoke numbers at its bars.

Cable cars

San Francisco’s cable car system is the only manually operated cable car in the world. It is considered an iconic symbol of San Francisco, and it serves as an intermodal urban transport network. It is managed by the San Francisco Municipal Railway. The cable car system was established in the year 1873. However, today there are only three cable lines that are in operation. It connects commuters to Union Square, Fisherman’s Wharf and California Street.

California Academy of Sciences

It is one of the most significant research institutes in the country. In addition, it has its very own natural history museum, which is famous for being the largest natural history museum in the world that displays and houses more than 26 million specimens and exhibits. It was established in the year 1853 and still houses an extensive collection of original research.

Haight Ashbury

Haight Ashbury is a culturally rich neighbourhood that has its very own unique history and charm. It offers a lot of opportunities for adventure and fun for the soul-searching adventurer. 

Some of its major attractions include swanky Cocktail lounges, vintage stores, cultural heritage across its streets, Ashbury Street fair, musical status and performances, street food outlets and lots more. It is also famous for its rich brewed coffee and an endless supply of caffeine drinks.

Alcatraz Island

Alcatraz Island is a rocky one that houses the infamous former federal prison. It is steeped in Legend, which makes it a popular tourist spot. It got its name from manual de Ayala, the Spanish Explorer who explored this little Island centuries ago. It is known as the island of pelicans.

Walt Disney family museum

The Walt Disney Family Museum is world-famous, and the Walt Disney Family Foundation owns it. It honours and celebrates the unique Legacy of the famous iconic artist of the 20th century. It can be found located on Montgomery Street and displays all of your favourite Disney characters. In addition, the entry is accessible throughout the year for those who served in the military.

North Beach San Francisco

The North Beach is famous for its ethnic culture, cafes serving quality and quantity food, coffee shops, Italian and Chinese cuisine, busy sidewalks, fabulous views of the San Francisco Bay, gorgeous parks and steep Hills.

Ferry Building Marketplace

The ferry building Marketplace is a major attraction of San Francisco. The top interests here include the Ferry Plaza farmers market, indulging in California artisan food and wine, experiencing the epicurean San Fransisco side, beaux art style buildings, classical European architecture, ferries, and long walks piers, stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge. 

You get it all from Mexican cuisine to classic Americana cuisine, coffee, pastries, farmstead cheese, fresh Tomales Bay oysters, and a wide array of seafood options to choose from.

The Exploratorium of San Francisco is a world-renowned museum of science, art and human perception. Muir Woods National monument

It is a part of the golden gate national recreation area. It is widespread and a significant tourist attraction for its towering Redwood trees and winding lanes.
